Azealia Banks vs. Kendrick Lamar

Azealia Banks is always blasting somebody on social media. This time around, Kendrick Lamar became her unexpecting target after the TDE rapper’s Billboard cover story published in early January. His comments concerning the Mike Brown-Ferguson case—where he said that Black people have to honor and respect themselves before we can expect anyone else to—caused the Harlem rapstress to go macaroni, cheese and ham!

She bashed K. Dot for bumping his gums to a “White publication” by telling them Black folks don’t respect themselves, and criticized him for ignoring the effects of generational “poverty, discrimination and racism” on the Black community. No response from Kendrick as of yet. But don’t be surprised if you hear Azealia’s name pop up in a “Control Part Two.”
