Got ‘Em! BET Says ‘Uncut’ Revival was a Prank

So y’all really thought y’all were about to see some lascivious butt-clappin’ going down on the late night? Sike! While BET announced the rebirth of their freak-a-deak series Uncut last week, the network unveiled that it was all a hoax in preparation for their new series, Punk’d, which airs 10:30 p.m. on August 18th. (Yes, Punk’d…the same celebrity prank show that was canceled on MTV nearly 10 years ago.)

The show’s new hosts DeStorm Power and Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor delivered the big letdown (for all the horny teenage boys and 50-plus pervs, that is) Tuesday night.

Haha! That was a good one! Although I’m still trying to figure out if this was really a joke, or if BET just backtracked after hearing all the hell-raising news of Uncut’s revival was starting to fire up. Hmm.

Anyway, of course the announcement sparked responses from a string of people who were both unhappy and disappointed about the network’s well-played fast-one.
