5 Easy Natural Hairstyles to Rock on Bad Hair Days
Two-Strand Twist Updo
I actually stumbled upon this hairstyle by accident a few months ago after two-strand twisting my tresses in preparation for a twist-out. I was doing some housework and got tired of my hair falling in my face whenever I moved around, so I pinned those suckers up any ole random way.
While I was pinning them, I started thinking to myself, This actually looks really cute! And when I started getting compliments left and right when I ran out the house for a few quick errands, I knew I had found one of my favorite new ‘dos. (This one lady even thought I had gotten it done at a shop!)
Once you have your hair sectioned in to chunky two strand twisties (click here for a tutorial on how to two-strand twist; I suggest bigger twists if you’re feeling really lazy or are in a hurry), there are a gazillion ways you can hook them up into funky fresh updos. Or you can just leave them out and jazz them up with headbands, wraps and scarves, like Natural Neiicey.
The great thing about this style is that you’ll have yourself a nice set of curls once you take out your twist.
